Table Games Dealer Training

Northampton Community College offers a wide array of table games dealer classes based upon the state guidelines for table games training. More than 250 people have already registered for classes and there are still seats available.
Our program in Monroe County is a close partnership with Mt. Airy Casino. The Bethlehem program is a close partnership with the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem. Completers of our programs will have the necessary certification to meet state requirements to work as tables games dealers at any casino in Pennsylvania and anywhere in the US and around the world.
Tuition and fees:
- Blackjack (six weeks) - tuition $750, materials fee $50
- Craps and Pai Gow Tiles (eight weeks) - tuition $1,000, no materials fee
- All other games (four weeks) - tuition $500, no materials fee
Most classes are scheduled morning, afternoon or evening Monday through Thursday with Friday and weekends for drop-in practice and coaching.

Before registering, please remember that table games dealing requires a basic level of numeracy skills. You should be comfortable with simple fractions and basic arithmetic functions. This is especially true for Craps.
Also, while our courses are developed very closely with the casinos and our instructors are all casino employees, employment is not guaranteed by completion of these courses. Successful completers who also meet the state's gaming license requirements will be eligible to audition for jobs at any Pennsylvania casino that offers table games.
