School Year Fee Refunds
Enrollees who withdraw from a course, workshop, or seminar one day prior to the first session will receive a full refund of course fees. A 50 percent (50%) refund will be granted if you withdraw prior to the start of class but less than one day before the first session is scheduled to meet. No refunds will be made if you withdraw at any time after the start of a class. Call the Records Office at 610-861-5494.
Discipline Policy and Procedures
Our program is designed to provide children with an opportunity to participate in unique group learning situations. Students that disrupt others' ability to learn or who require more individualized attention may not fit into our program. To ensure all students' abilities to learn, all classes have rules that must be adhered to. Please be sure to review our discipline policy which you will receive after registering. It will describe what constitutes inappropriate behavior and the consequences that may result. Extreme behavior may excuse your child from the remainder of the class without any refund, and may exclude your child from participation in our summer program in the future.
Children with Disabilities
Children with disabilities who are in need of specialized accommodations (example: a sign language interpreter or permission to be accompanied by an attendant) must identify themselves to the Northampton Community College Disability Services department at the time of registration. Call the Office at 610-861-5342. Current documentation of disability must be provided to the department. If you will be requesting special accommodations, you MUST contact NCC's Disability Services by June 1 or 2 weeks prior to the start of class if you register after June 1. You will be required to provide acceptable documentation of the disability and complete an Information Form which can be done over the phone.
Students that need specialized accommodations and do not contact Disability Services prior to the start of class will not be able to participate until parents/guardians have contacted the office and completed the necessary requirements.
Course Cancellation
Northampton Community College reserves the right to cancel courses when there is insufficient enrollment. If you register for a course, which is later canceled, we will notify you of the cancellation. Enrollees with a canceled course may select an alternate offering, request a credit voucher for future use, or receive a full refund.
