Leading the Way

The NCC-Monroe Leadership Class of 2013 graduated on February 21. Over the course of the fall and early spring semesters, students met for presentations and exercises led by NCC faculty and staff as well as community leaders. They also participated in seminars, including the StrengthsFinder test and an overnight weekend retreat.  In addition, the students spent several months working on a service learning project to benefit wounded and homeless veterans.

The Main Campus Leadership Class students participated in a weekend retreat at Camp Bernie, New Jersey on February 1-3. The students, who were chosen for the leadership development program through a competitive selection process, will graduate from the program at the end of this semester.
