STUDENT INSURANCE
Northampton offers group insurance to credit students through Collegiate Insurance Resources (formerly Special Risk Consultants). All international students and students residing in on-campus housing are required to have insurance. Domestic students who commute are offered the domestic policy on a voluntary basis .

DEPENDENT COVERAGE
Please note that dependents are eligible for coverage on all student insurance plans offered, as long as the student is enrolled in the plan. To enroll your dependents please print and complete the appropriate enrollment form and mail it with your payment as noted on the form.
Assurant Health SHORT-TERM PLAN
Are you between jobs, a recent college graduate, in a waiting period for employer-sponsored coverage or in a similar situation, and have short-term insurance needs? Special Risk Consultants can assist with your short term insurance needs. You can complete an on-line enrollment form for this policy by going to the following website at http://www.visitsrc.com/other.asp and selecting the Short-term Medical Insurance option. Or you can contact Collegiate Insurance Resources to talk about the policy options. Their number is 610-489-6100. The Bursar's Office also has a supply of short-term insurance brochures.
