Community Engagements

• Various student clubs routinely make monetary donations to organizations, including United Way, Make A Wish Foundation, Women’s Resources, Habitat for Humanity, National Transplant Assistance Fund, the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the March of Dimes/Walk America
• Monroe Campus faculty, staff, and students annually volunteer a day of time and labor for Monroe County’s United Way Day of Caring
• Employees of the Monroe Campus have contributed more than $3,200 to the 2010 United Way campaign
• Monroe staff donate food items for local soup kitchens
• Successful drives have been held to benefit Toys for Tots -- Monroe County Marine Chapter and the Monroe County chapter of the American Red Cross
