Generate Your Course Instruction Letters
Once you have registered, be sure to generate an instruction letter for each course you are taking.
First Time Login Procedures
Your Blackboard login is your student ID #. You can locate your student ID # in the upper right hand corner of your student data sheet registration form. This is not your social security number.
Your initial Blackboard password is also your Student ID#. If you previously used Blackboard and changed your password, use your current password instead. Otherwise, use your Student ID# as your password.
If you do not have your student ID# you can:
- fax a signed request to the Records Office at (610) 861-5551,
- mail a signed request to NCC Records Office, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020, or
- come to the Records Office (Student Enrollment Center) with a photo ID.
When you log on to Blackboard, you may change your password if you wish. Also, please verify your email address. Instructions on how to do this are on the left hand menu in Blackboard.

Once the Semester Begins
- Remember to log on to your course at least twice a week so that you do not fall behind on your assignments
- Check your NCC e-mail account regularly. Instructors will be sending important information to your NCC e-mail address throughout the semester.
Remember to set the default on your e-mail to automatically save a copy of all sent e-mail. This is important in the event that an e-mail needs to be recovered. If you have any questions on how to do this, contact the Help Desk at
