Non-Grading Policy

The College does not issue letter grades for Community Education courses. The College will issue a statement of satisfactory completion for those students or employers who require such written documentation. Students requiring such documentation should notify the instructor at the beginning of each course.

Continuing Education Units

Some Community Education courses are offered for continuing education units. This gives the student a standardized measure of achievement that is recognized to agencies outside the College. Courses with CEUs attached to them may involve some form of assessment of the skills or knowledge gained by the student from the course.

Course Cancellation

Northampton Community College reserves the right to cancel courses when there is insufficient enrollment. If you register for a course that is later cancelled, we will notify you of the cancellation. Enrollees in a cancelled course may select an alternative offering, request a credit voucher for future use, or receive a full refund.

Necessary Changes

Northampton Community College reserves the right to make changes in the staff, fees, courses of instruction and regulations without prior notice.
