Step 1: Career Assessment
Finding the right career starts with having a full understanding of your interests, skills, personality and values. Focus 2 will provide you with this information. If you want to take the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality test or the Strong Interest Inventory, please call 610-861-5346 (Bethlehem) or 570-620-9221 (Monroe) and ask the secretary to make an appointment to meet with a counselor. Phone appointments can be made if necessary.
Step 2: Occupational Research
Finding out more about careers that interest you is an important step in your planning process. We recommend that you research as many careers as possible to give you the broadest possible range from which to choose. This search can be done on Focus 2.

Step 3: What Can I Do With A Major In...?
Matching the right major for your career objective can be difficult. Likewise, if you know what you want to study, you will still need to research what types of careers are available for graduates with degrees in your field.
Log on to Focus 2 for information on what majors prepare you for certain careers. Career prospects, work responsibilities and salary ranges for careers are provided.
