STEM Success

STEM Success is a program that offers support for students pursuing immediate career opportunities and employment entry upon completing science and technology degrees at Northampton. STEM offers:

  • Direction when you are unsure of where to start to get a question answered
  • Information on degree requirements and college policies and procedures
  • Guidance on selecting the right courses for you major and registering on MyNCC
  • Completion of a long-term course plan for upcoming semesters
  • Referrals to a wide range of academic and personal support services
  • Workshops on study strategies, test taking skills, and time management
  • Awareness of occupations and potential employers
  • Help on writing a resume, cover letter, and interviewing skills

Robert''s primary role is to assist with the educational plans and career goals of students majoring in the science and technology career programs at Northampton Community College. He provides various academic skills workshops, complete long-term academic plans, and provide assistance with the job search process. He is also an academic advisor for SMaRT Scholars in the National Science Foundation SMaRT Scholarship program.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Summer Hours
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
*** The college is closed on Fridays from mid-May though mid-August
