Curriculum Vitae Highlights
My work in education began over 20 years ago when I had one of the biggest thrills of my life—stepping into my very first classroom as a teacher. My time as an elementary teacher followed years of education at Moravian College, where I obtained my degree in Psychology, and Lehigh University, where I graduated with an M.Ed. in Human Development/Educational Psychology.
My association with higher education began in 1991 with my first course as an adjunct instructor, and it has continued ever since. For two of these years I worked as a Health Educator in the Psychosocial and Behavioral Science Division of Fox Chase Cancer Center, in Philadelphia. Also considered an institution of higher education, I conducted behavioral research with breast and lung cancer patients. In 2005 I was offered my current position at NCC. It’s a pleasure and a privilege to be associated with Northampton and to have this opportunity to serve both the students and our community.
