Accreditation Study Groups

Having support is critical in meeting national accreditation standards.   NCC has a long history of successfully supporting programs through accreditation processes.   Two new accreditation study groups are scheduled to begin in July 2008:

  • Accreditation Study Group 2 for programs currently accredited by NAEYC that are striving to meet the new NAEYC Accreditation Standards.  For more information about this group, click HERE.
  • Accreditation Study Group 3 for programs new to accreditation and are interested in becoming NAEYC Accredited.  For more information about this group, click HERE.

If you are interested in support for other national accreditation programs, such as Middle States Early Age Education Accreditation, National Afterschool Association Accreditation, and National Association of Family Child Care Accreditation, contact us at (610)332-6541 for more information.

Accreditation Mock On-Site Assessment Visits

Programs pursuing accreditation have found that having a simulated accreditation assessment observation is a helpful step in preparing for the actual accreditation visit.  Mock On-Site Assessment Visits can help practitioners feel more comfortable with having an outside observer in their classrooms.  These visits can also help to identify ongoing quality improvements that a program can make to more fully meet accreditation standards.  For more information about scheduling an Accreditation Mock On-Site Assessment Visit call (610)332-6541.
