Demonstration Site for Inclusive Childcare Practices and Arts-Integration
NCC’s Center for Early Childhood Education offers professional development opportunities through demonstration visits to the Reibman Hall Children's Center,
a four-star facility through Pennsylvania's Keystone Stars program and accredited
by NAEYC and The Middle States Association for Colleges and Schools.
Teachers utilize strategies and techniques central to Art as a Way of Learning® and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to plan and implement curriculum. The Children's Center and Early Childhood Education Department work in partner-
ship to develop a curriculum that models best practices and is developmentally appropriate.
Building Inclusive Child Care (BICC)
The Building Inclusive Child Care project provides
professional development opportunities where
practitioners can visit and observe to gain
information and share ideas concerning inclusive,
arts-integrated early childhood programs. The
program focuses on fostering and promoting inclusive
and universally designed practices on behalf of children with developmental disabilities.

Infant/Toddler Demonstration Visits
As more and more early childhood professionals
seek to improve the quality of their infant and
toddler programs, everyone asks what it takes
to provide high quality infant and toddler
education. Within the few months, NCC will be
offering professional development through
demonstration visits where practitioners can visit
and observe to gain information and share ideas
concerning high quality interaction, environ-
ments, curriculum and activities for infants and
toddlers. Watch for more details.
