Third Party Billing ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS
/ Monthly Start Option

PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING: Student's enrolled in the Monthly Start eCDA Option will receive 9 credits upon successful completion of the program with a completed college credit application.  If the student plans to use the eCDA program toward completion of an Associate Degree, or if the student wants 9 college credits for the eCDA program, a credit application must be completed.
A one-time fee of $25 paid with credit card is required for processing each student's college credit application.  This fee enables students to register for any number of credit courses at Northampton Community College.  Students receive notification near the end of the eCDA program when it is time to apply to the college with a credit application.

The following procedures are to be used when the student's employer organization is paying for the student's eCDA Registration Fee.  The cost of the educational program is $1,476 per student.  The total cost associated with eCDA is detailed as follows:

After employees are registered for eCDA they will receive a Student Data Sheet in the mail.  The Student Data Sheet provides each employee with a Student ID #.  Employees need their Student ID # to access the eCDA program.  This number is found in the upper right hand corner of the Student Data Sheet.  This number is NOT the employee's social security number.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you register employees late (within 5 days of the start date of the program) employees may not receive their Student ID # in a timely manner.

Step 5:  Purchase 1 book per student at www.teachingstrategies.com/eCDAbooks. You will need to specify the number of Preschool books (for students specializing in Preschool CDA) and the number of Infant/Toddler books (for students specializing in Infant/Toddler CDA).  Books must be purchased direct from Teaching Strategies, Inc.  The cost per book is $54.95.  The book is used for all three courses
that are part of eCDA.

Step 6:  Each student requires a CDA Application Packet that is published by the Council for Professional Recognition.  CDA Application Packets are used during the first week of the course. NCC's Bookstore inventories CDA Application Packets to accommodate fast processing and shipping.  Email a separate Purchase Order for the total number of CDA Application Packets to manfuso@northampton.edu.  You will need to specify the number of Preschool Application Packets (for students specializing in Preschool CDA) and the number of Infant/Toddler Application Packets (for students specializing in Infant/Toddler CDA).  Be sure your Purchase Order for CDA Application Packets is completed as follows:

                A.  Quantity of Preschool and Infant/Toddler Application Packets
                B.  Item Description:  eCDA1111 Preschool CDA Application Packets
                                             eCDA1111 Infant/Toddler CDA Application Packets
                C.  Billing Address
                D.  Shipping Address with name of individual to receive all Packets

Step 7:  Provide each employee you have registered with a set of instructions for accessing their eCDA course by clicking on the following link:

                       https://www.northampton.edu/forms/distance/dlletters.aspx

You must enter the Course Code (eCDA1111), Section Number, and Semester (Spring, Summer I, Summer II, Fall).

Congratulations!  Your employees are ready for eCDA.
