Hotel & Restaurant Management

The program exudes hands-on education. There are class trips to tour industry-related properties. Students participate in planning and executing small and large catering functions. They practice with the latest software used in the industry. They examine ethical principles and legal issues, and refine their communication skills. They gain a solid understanding of the business of hotel and restaurant operations to make decisions based on cost-effectiveness and good customer service.


The Hotel/Restaurant Management Associate in Applied Science Degrees (Restaurant Option and Hotel Option) are two-year programs. Both programs serve a critical need in this industry. All areas of the field are covered, from front desk operations and reservation systems to dining room management and beverage services.
