Radiography

The Radiography Program is an integral component of the Allied Health and Science Division of Northampton Community College situated in the Lehigh Valley of eastern Pennsylvania in close proximity to both Philadelphia and New York City .   Due to our location, we are able to provide access to state of the art technology and equipment.

The Radiography Program provides learning opportunities through a curriculum that demands technical competence through innovative and educationally sound classroom and clinical education experiences.  We provide an environment that fosters inquisitiveness, both collaboration and independence, and is learner-centered.  Our focus is to help a diverse student body develop to its fullest potential.  We promote life-long learning and adhere to the standards of ethical practice that will serve the graduates throughout their careers.

The Radiography Program is accountable to the students, advisory committee, College administration, and the community-at-large.  Strong ties are maintained between the College faculty and the clinical instructors through ongoing collaboration concerning the integration of classroom and clinical experiences.  Our graduates are immediately employable as proficient entry-level radiographers, and will meet the needs of the community-at-large.  The graduates will display compassion, professionalism, have good problem solving/critical thinking abilities, and possess good communication skills.
