What does a  Radiographer do?



A radiographer specializes in the use of x-rays to create images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

We perform a wide range of procedures for example:

  • Diagnostic procedures such as chest and spine x-rays
  • Fluorscopic procedures such as stomach & barium enema exams
  • Operating room and emergency (trauma) procedures
  • Procedures in Inventional Radiology 

You may also choose to specialize in areas like: MRI, CT,  Interventional Radiology, Mammography, Diagnostic Sonography, Radiation Therapy & Nuclear Medicine
