Students who have not received a bachelor's degree may be eligible for this federal grant program. The amount of the award will depend on a student's expected family contribution and enrollment status.
Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG)
SEOG is a form of aid for students with exceptional financial need. The amount of the SEOG award will depend on a student's financial need and enrollment status. Priority for SEOG is given to students who apply by the March 31 NCC priority application deadline.
Pennsylvania State Grants
A student must be enrolled in at least six credits per semester to possibly qualify for a state grant. The amount of a state grant award will depend on a student's financial need, program of study, housing, residency and enrollment status. The Pennsylvania state grant application deadline is May 1st for most students.
State Grants From Other States
Many States have their own financial aid programs. If you are a resident of a State other than Pennsylvania, you may qualify for financial aid from your home State. State financial aid programs have various eligibility requirements and some State grants may only be used at colleges in the granting State. Application deadlines vary by State.
