Giving to Northampton Community College

Be Part of Someone's Success Story

At Northampton Community College, our culture reflects our belief that higher education ought to be within the reach of all of those who can benefit from it. Your support plays a key role in fueling this endeavor.

We are the point of access for many of our students. If it were not for Northampton, higher education would not be an option for many of our students. Even with one of the lowest tuitions in the state, many of our students struggle being able to afford tuition as they balance families, work and school.

The generosity of our donors makes it possible for students from all walks of life to secure an excellent education that is accessible and affordable. No matter how you choose to make a gift, you can be sure that your donation will make a difference in the lives of future students. The Alumni Walk of Recognition, located in front of Alumni Hall in the Gates Center, has become a symbol of remembering the past and embracing the future. You can become a permanent part of this historic walkway of NCC alumni and friends by purchasing an inscription brick. Let your name pave the way for generations to come. Your name carved in a brick will symbolize the spirit you felt when you were at NCC-the same spirit still present everywhere on campus!

Who should purchase a brick?
ALUMNI! Graduation is the perfect time to celebrate the accomplishments of our newest grads by recognizing them with an inscribed brick. Parents, spouses, children, and grandparents, the brick makes a wonderful gift!

Why should I purchase a brick?
Your brick on the walkway will be a permanent tribute on the NCC campus. In years to come, your family members and many students, alumni, faculty and visitors will see your brick and recognize your loyalty to NCC. Spartan Aid

Many NCC students regularly struggle to make ends meet and continue to pursue in their college education. For those students, addressing even basic living expenses like paying rent, buying food and receiving health care, is often not possible.

It was for those students that Spartan Aid was created.

Spartan Aid provides students with financial support for essential needs and also referrals to NCC and community resources in order to eliminate academic and non-academic barriers. Through it many NCC students have had critical needs met that helped them through difficult and challenging times, reaching students in the very moment when they most needed support to stay Spartan Strong!

Scholarships

Over 53% of our students require some type of financial aid to attend Northampton. Still there is over $11 million in unmet need. Northampton may be the only point of access for many of our students. Even with some of the most affordable tuition rates in Pennsylvania, many do not have the financial resources to gain access to higher education. Scholarships provide this access. If you are interested in established a named scholarship, please call the Foundation offices at 610.861.5451.
