Nominations are being accepted for the 2009 Recipes for Success Alumni Awards Mixer:
To nominate fellow alumni or colleagues for their accomplishments and service in the community, particular profession and to NCC follow the instructions below.  Nominations are being accepted for the Alumni Association’s “Recipes for Success…Alumni Awards Mixer” to be held in the fall of 2009. 

 

We encourage you to nominate a fellow alumnus for one of these distinguished awards.  Self nominations are also accepted.  Nominations must include: nominee’s name, award being nominated for and reason for nominating the person. Alumni Distinguished Service Award to NCC

Alumnus must be an active participant in NCC activities and programs that advance the mission and goals of the College.

 

Alumni Distinguished Service Award to the Community

Alumnus must have demonstrated distinguished accomplishment in any field of community service that brings honor to the recipient.  The contribution need not necessarily be one in which public acclaim is emphasized, or may consist of having religious, social or educational value. 

 

Alumni Professional Achievement Award

Alumnus must have demonstrated distinguished accomplishment in any field of professional endeavor.  The contribution need not necessarily be one in which public acclaim is emphasized, but may consist of important creative effort in organization and development having professional, social or educational value.

 

Criteria – Above nominees must have obtained 30 or more credits from NCC and should be a person who has achieved recognition among colleagues for accomplishments and service in the community, particular profession and/or NCC.

 

Alumni Association Educator’s Award

Nominee must be a current or past full-time or adjunct NCC faculty member who has demonstrated distinguished accomplishment(s) in education which contributes to NCC and the student population. The nominee should be an individual who has achieved recognition from colleagues, students, and/or the education community.

 

NCC Honorary Alumnus

Nominee must be a non-NCC graduate who has worked on behalf of the NCC Alumni Association to further the NCC mission.
