MONROE STUDENT GOVERNANCE
The Student Governance of the Monroe Campus is to promote cooperation, and to develop and maintain college spirit; serving as liason among faculty, administration, and the student body; and to encourage superior standards in leadership, loyalty, honesty and respect.

Monroe Governance Committee consists of a maximum of nine (12) members:
Four (4) are elected officers, and eight (8) are elected general members. Membership is open to any full or part-time student enrolled in credit classes at the Monroe Campus.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties - Club Liaisons; Monroe Campus Club Budgets; Regular Meetings; Liaisons to NCC Monroe Faculty/Staff; Open Communication with NCC Bethlehem Campus; Members of Monroe Diversity Taskforce; Environmental Taskforce Student Representatives for the Monroe Campus Expansion Project
Community Service - Promote Education About Our Community; Participate in Community Service (i.e. Food Drives, United Way, WalkAmerica, Local School Programs, Etc.), Hospice Care, SPCA, Toys For Tots
Programming - Sponsor Campus Events; Support or Co-Sponsor Other Club Events; Fundraising Events - Welcome Back Party, End of Year Bash, Student Awards, FallFest
