Working with children brings joy to my heart, and I would like to be a part of seeing them succeed," Christina Couchon says happily. She gets to work in the Hannig Family Children's Center to gain real world experience outside of the classroom. Christina finds the fact that students can take the early childhood classes from the start, not just general education courses, a very beneficial part of NCC's program. This helps a student know right away if this program is for you, she says. She plans to start her career as a teacher's assistant and then wants to get her four-year degree.
