Ingrid Martz

Ingrid Martz has been working for the Horizons For Youth program at NCC for over 10 years, at both the Main and the Fowler locations, teaching American Red Cross Health and Safety classes. Ingrid is an Instructor and Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross, teaching classes ranging from First Aid, Professional CPR and AED, Babysitting, Lifeguarding, Oxygen Administration to Water Safety Instructor. She actively teaches ARC courses, as well as teaching and coaching all-ages swimming, for over 18 years. Martz received her undergraduate and graduate education at East Stroudsburg University. She is a certified parenting coach and has trained with the Culinary Institute of America in Austria and Italy. Her main teaching goal is for her students to complete their programs not simply with their certifications, but also with the confidence to use their skills and knowledge in real, everyday life.
