Margo Dixon

Margo DixonMargo Smith Dixon began as an adjunct instructor in the fall of 2013 and teaches child development and history on NCC's Bethlehem Campus. With degrees in Early Childhood Education, Speech Communication, Management and Gifted Education, Margo taught in Colorado, Massachusetts, and Georgia. She was Media Director for an architecture firm, Education Coordinator for Head Start Atlanta, raised two children, was a Girl Scout leader, a Service Unit Director, and a trainer for Girl Scout Leaders.

Margo moved to Bethlehem with her dog, Sirius Black, and her collection of 1,450 depictions of the Nativity, to establish a Nativity Museum. She is an active member of several museums and interest groups.

She shares perspective, knowledge, experience, strength and hope with older students along with her sense of adventure and the idea that one can, at any age, start over, learn, grow and explore new ideas and adventures.
