Faculty Development Programs
The Center for Teaching and Learning has a number of programs available to assist all faculty, full-time and adjunct, in their teaching. Programs are designed to support College-wide initiatives, to engage faculty in discussions on learning, and to help faculty with classroom and course development. We invite you to browse information about our workshops and consultations.
Professional Development Workshops
A variety of workshops and seminars clustered under the themes of learner-centered teaching, assessment, critical thinking, student behavior, and technology are scheduled. Each event is facilitated by an NCC colleague who will share best practices, introduce you to new ideas, and encourage you to learn from one another. Unless listed otherwise, events at the Bethlehem campus will be held in the Center (Richardson 101). Room locations for events at the Monroe campus are posted on the workshop calendar.
To view the Workshop Calendar, click on the menu on the left side of this screen. Each monthly calendar displays the titles, dates/times and locations for the workshops and seminars. When you click on a title, a full description of the event is displayed. To register for a workshop or seminar, please e-mail the Center at ctl@northampton.edu.
