For the third year in a row!
For the third year in a row, Northampton Community College (NCC) has been named one of the top ten tech-savvy community colleges in the country, coming in this year at #6 for large schools. This distinction is conferred by the Center for Digital Education's Digital Community College's survey, which honors community colleges that are using technology to improve the delivery of curricula and services to help students succeed.
"This year's survey indicates that community colleges are making great strides in using data to improve decisions, provide professional development to assist faculty in the use of technology and creating robust online and mobile services for their students," says Dr. Kecia Ray, executive director for the Center for Digital Education.
NCC received recognition for enhancing student advising and academic support through technology, for faculty initiatives involving technology, and for the role technology plays in making the College's Monroe Campus a model for environmental sustainability.
