Community College
has released a report on the largest graduating class in its history, the Class of 2007.
Results were obtained from the ninety-one percent of the class, numbering 1,180, who responded to the survey.
Other findings about 2007 graduates include:
- In 32 out of 46 career programs, 100% were employed or continuing their educations soon after graduation
- Of those who were employed, 86% were engaged in a position relative to their fields of study; 7% were engaged in unrelated positions by choice, for a total of 93% working in occupations of their preference
- The highest median salary, $54,080, was reported for graduates of the dental hygiene program
- Students continuing their educations transferred to 59 different educational institutions, including Temple, Lehigh, East Stroudsburg, and Kutztown Universities and Moravian and Cedar Crest College.
