will present a summer institute for classroom and art educators and administrators, featuring the
Art
as a Way of Learning curriculum. The institute will be held at the Banana Factory in
Bethlehem
from June 23 through June 27,
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
daily.
The Art as a Way of Learning summer institute will provide participants with an adventure in the use of the arts to construct new ways of thinking about teaching and learning. Participants will explore hands-on art activities and focus on developing skills and knowledge for planning an arts-integrated curriculum. PA ACT-48 credit and ESU credit is available upon request.
The cost of the institute is $450 for non-credit students, $1103 for PA resident graduate students, and $1746 for non-residents graduate students. Master’s degree students should register through East Stroudsburg University; non-credit students may call 570-422-2872.
