In what was an intense physical battle that yielded some blood shed, the Staff Infections squeaked out a 15-13 road victory over The Showstoppers. Even the home court advantage and chants of "Go Monroe" from the Monroe Students and children from the Hannig Family Children's Center weren't enough. The Staff Infections took home the trophy but the Showstoppers left with their pride. This is the first year of what is shaping up to be a long standing NCC tradition.
