In A Nutshell
This talented team handles much more than enrollment. Enrollment Services also serves as Admissions, Financial Aid, Records, and the Bursar’s Office for the Monroe Campus. Sounds like a lot? There’s more! They also serve as the front office, Call Center, and switchboard for the campus. Add in mailroom receiving and room scheduling and that is one very big nutshell!

Busiest Time of Year
Try not to bother the folks at Enrollment Services when fall payments are due. They’ve got lines fifty deep sometimes!
Funniest Moment
The women hear a lot of funny student excuses when it comes to why a payment is late or why someone needs to drop a class. One employee even had a student sing her a rap song about why he didn’t go to class!
Proudest Moment
Part of their job is getting information to the students who need it most. Denise Harris is particularly proud of being able to stop a student from dropping her classes because she couldn’t afford the books. They also enjoy it when a student stops by to thank them, either with a hug, a small gift, or some freshly baked cookies.

The work hard – but they play hard too! “We are a hard charging, fun loving, always ready for a party gang,” Laura Shamburger says.
