The Environmental Task Force (ETF) reminds you that
Northampton
has been recycling for many years.
Paper, cardboard, newspaper, catalogs, phone books, - even glass, aluminum and plastic – all find their way to second lives and avoid landfills thanks to the College’s commitment to the environment.
But much more needs to be done to keep our campus and our community clean and green. The ETF invites you to join them September through May. Find out how you can make a difference. Join us on the first Thursday of each month, at 3:30 p.m. in College Center, Room 162. We’ve only got one more meeting this semester (December 7); but if you can't make that, make plans to join us in the spring semester.
And look for the recycling containers in classrooms , residence hall , offices and public areas ; use them, and encourage others to follow your lead!
For guidelines on what can be recycled, check the ETF page on NCC’s web site.
Remember to Reuse, Reduce and Recycle!
