For the past two months, a special member of the NCC staff made his rounds at the college, bringing a smile to the faces of students, faculty and staff. But this was no ordinary staff member - he had a cold wet nose and a wagging tail. He was Hans, a sixteen-month-old Seeing Eye puppy. The Labrador retriever and golden retriever mix came to work every day with Cora Yockers, instructional technologist in Computer Services, to help prepare him to become a guide dog for the blind. Last week, the Instructional Technology staff hosted a farewell reception for Hans, who will return to The Seeing Eye in
Morristown
,
NJ
on May 24th. Over sixty NCC staffers came to say good-bye and to wish him luck in the next stage of his development.
