At least it was on Tuesday, December 5! The room was transformed into a global experience featuring foods and music from around the world. The Multi-Cultural Club sponsored a fair to give students the opportunity to learn about the rest of the world while having fun!
Visitors checked in at the Passport Agency and were issued their official Multi-Cultural fair passport. The first stop was
North America , and travelers could then move on around the globe, getting their passport stamped at each stop.
Some of the countries represented were India, Spain, Chad, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Austria, South Africa, Norway, Indonesia, and Japan. Faculty, staff, and students sponsored tables and supplied all the information and display items about their chosen country.
Along with an array of delicious foods from around the world, guests were serenaded with music and treated to a dance demonstration. Traditional dress was also on display, including a Japanese kimono and wedding garb from Indonesia.
