If you love to sing, join "Bel Canto Dalle Stelle." the community chorus which meets from 7-9:30 on Wednesday evenings in Room 101 of Kopecek Hall on Northampton Community College's Main Campus. Previous musical experience is not necessary, only the desire to learn. This vocal group will focus on performance, development of technical and practical skills, and total enjoyment of both sacred and secular repertoire, from the Vatican to Broadway. Public concerts will be held Friday, December 5, 2008 and Friday, May 8, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.

Murdy-Haber brings to the chorus 32 years of choral and performance experience and lots of enthusiasm. Her choral groups have sung for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican and performed in Carnegie Hall, The White House, and at cathedrals in Venice, Florence, Vienna, and Salzburg.

All are welcome to join the chorus including community members, students, faculty, and staff. Students can also sign up for the Community Chorus as a one-credit course.
