Identity theft. Computer viruses. They are real threats that can cause major catastrophes in our computer-driven world. The people that are able to thwart them are considered the super heroes of the technology age.
NCC is responsible for educating some of these future heroes. A partnership with Cisco Networking Academy has enabled NCC faculty to keep its students studying computers up to date on the latest security procedures as well as develop valuable information and communication technology.
On March 11, NCC faculty and students of the Computer Information Technology degree program celebrated the partnership between the state of Pennsylvania and t
he Cisco Networking Academy Program at a ceremony in Harrisburg. The program was highlighted with remarks from Pennsylvania Department of Education Secretary Gerald Zahorchak, Senator Rob Wonderling, chairman of the Pennsylvania Senate Communications and Technology Committee; Representative Dan Frankel, and Geoff Fancher, area vice president for Cisco.
