The College Life Committee is responsible for funding a balanced program of events each academic year to: broaden our students’ college experience; enrich Northampton ’s cultural, social, and intellectual life; and reflect the diversity of our students and the surrounding community.

The College Life Committee is seeking proposals for the Fall 2008 semester. Priority will be given to proposals which:

· Have emphasis on multicultural issues.

· Broaden the cultural awareness of students.

· Enhance instruction or are tied to institutional priorities.

· Are collaborative and/or interdisciplinary in nature.

· Serve multiple NCC locations.

Northampton’s faculty, administrators, staff, and students are encouraged to apply for funds to support programs that meet any/all of the above priorities. Send your completed proposal form to:

Important to Note upon approval:

• The Dean of Students Office will send you a Cultural Events Host Checklist to assist in your event planning. This list provides you with the information you need to plan a successful event. Follow this checklist to the letter!
• The event host must complete a check voucher form, available through the Dean of Students Office, in order to receive the funds you have been allocated.
• Complete and return the Event Evaluation form to the College Life Committee.
