On August 1 Mark W. Henry, director of advising and transfer services at Northampton
Community College, will become chair-elect of the Pennsylvania ACT Council, a non-profit organization that supports educators at secondary and post-secondary institutions in preparing students for further education or for work. As chair-elect, Henry will also serve on the Council’s executive committee.
ACT is a national organization devoted to helping people achieve education and workplace success. It provides more than a hundred assessment, research, information, and program management services in the areas of education and workplace development. Henry will be a critical link in helping ACT fulfill this mission in Pennsylvania.
