On Thursday night, NCC’s men’s basketball team defeated
Harrisburg Area Community College by a tremendous score of 109-74 in a fast-paced game which put the Spartans in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) Final Four this weekend.
Four men posted double figures during Thursday night’s game when they each scored more than ten points, but according to Coach Tyrone Wright, all team members contributed to the victory. The Spartans have advanced to play Community College of Philadelphia on Saturday, February 9, at 3 p.m.
The ultimate EPCC winner will be determined on Sunday, and will play the winner of the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference in the state championships on February 17. All games will be played at Bucks County Community College.
Coach Tyrone Wright has high hopes for this weekend’s game. “We will be successful if we rebound the ball, play good defense, and share the ball. These are the three keys we are preaching for the game.”
