Transitional Housing To Help Better the Community

An NCC student is grateful for transitional housing

Mia Rossi,

Yahaira Davis, NCC student, lives with her children in a transitional apartment operated by the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley. The program in place there allows for the residents to save money, further their education and move out of the housing to a more permanent location. Roslyn Kuba, counselor at the Ferry Street Apartments, says the success rate is high for those who go through the program. Yahaira Davis is the second individual featured in this video focusing on how the housing works for the community.
