Students planning to attend Northampton Community College and their parents are invited to attend an orientation day to help them make a successful transition from high school to college. In addition to meeting with their academic advisor to plan their course schedule and registering for classes, during orientation students will learn about student clubs and organizations, get the scoop on many valuable services that are available to students free of charge, and pick up their photo IDs.
Orientation programs will be held at Main Campus on June 17, June 18, June 24, June 25, June 26, July 8, July 9 and July 10. Check-in will take place between noon and 12:30 p.m. at the Quad outside of the main entrance to College Center.
Programs at the new Monroe campus will be held on July 15, July 16, July 17, July 23 and July 24. Check-in will take place in Pocono Hall between noon and 12:30 p.m.
Students are advised to attend an orientation on the campus where they will take most of their courses. An online grid lists days when orientation days for various majors are scheduled. Please visit the Admissions' Orientation page for further information, including placement testing information, and to RSVP online for an orientation session.
