Students and Pets Picnic Together

October 25, 2012

Students from Northampton Community College's veterinary technician program got a chance to meet each other - and each other's pets - at a pet social on October 25.

"It's a chance for first year students to meet second year students," Lisa Martini-Johnson, assistant director of the veterinary technician program, explained.

It was also a chance for students to show off their favorite dogs, cats, and even lizards and rats! Students were invited to bring their pets to the event. Check out more of the fun photos from this event on Flickr.

About NCC's Veterinary Technician Program
NCC's veterinary technician program is the first in the country to be founded and operated jointly with another community college, Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC). Students use both campuses to take their general education and veterinary technology courses; there is an animal facility on the LCC campus where the clinical courses with animals are taught.
