Finals began on May 6, yet students had the chance to start their examinations as relaxed as possible, thanks to a series of fun events held the week before in the Student Life Zone!
Friendly board game competitions were held on Monday, April 29, followed by a guided meditation led by Ken Burak, associate professor of philosophy. On Wednesday, make-your-own silly putty was on the de-stress menu and for throwback Thursday: coloring! Hey, were YOU stressed out in kindergarten?
Massage therapy students offered free massages on Thursday, May 1 in the David A. Reed Community Room.
If you missed out on all the relaxation, or find that you're still feeling the stress after finals are over, you can unwind and help NCC massage therapy students meet their practicum requirements. Win-win! Massages will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays, May 27 - July 1, and are priced to accommodate a college student's budget. Click here for a list of prices, then head over to northampton.edu/massage to make an appointment online.
