What is the Fab Lab?
NCC's Fab Lab provides the public access to fabrication technology for prototyping, educational purposes, and to simply make their ideas a reality. The lab is located at NCC's Fowler Family Southside Center at 511 E. Third Street, Bethlehem.
Who can use the Fab Lab?
Almost anyone can use the Fab Lab. Our mission is to provide people access to advanced technologies to help them literally realize their dreams. Engineers and architects have used the Fab Lab and so have students, artists, teachers, inventors, musicians, seamstresses, and kids as young as 10 years old. The Fab Lab is truly a "people's resource."

What equipment is in the Fab Lab?
The Fab Lab at Northampton Community College now has over 1000sq-ft for its Fabrication Shop and includes our CNC Router, 660sq-ft for Prototyping with 3D Printer and Laser.
Our computer area is set up for 7 students. Each computer is loaded with Solidworks, AutoCAD, Inventor, MasterCAM, Corel and Microsoft Office.

What does it cost to use the Fab Lab?

How can I use the Fab Lab?
A great way to get started in the Fab Lab is to take FABET100 (Planting the Entrepreneur Seed) and FABET101 (Introduction to Product Design and Manufacturing) or one of our courses in your area of interest. Click below to see a full schedule of classes.
