Performance Development Initiative
Launched in 2004, the Center for Business & Industry's Performance
Development Initiative seeks to take a systematic approach in helping
businesses identify training priorities in the midst of rapid change in
technology and the marketplace. Competitive companies are asking for greater
performance from their employees. The Performance Development Initiative
reflects CBI's commitment to businesses in eastern Pennsylvania as they
address their requirements for growth.
In addition to building a network for leaders and managers, and offering
greater communication on performance challenges, the Center has introduced
the Performance Gap Index, a quarterly measurement on progress in the
region. NCC's Center for Business & Industry provides employers with tools
they can use to improve performance within their organizations, and they are
committed to offering the kinds of training and programs that will help
close the gaps they are measuring.
