Topics include types of extruders, component parts, type of screws, dyes and parts and types of extrusion materials. Individual needs and applications will be discussed. VTSI 3011 Plastics Injection Molding Fundamentals of running an injection molding machine. Covers molding machine principles; set-up, start and shut-down, material flow, safety, mold types, heating and cooling, cavities and runners.
