Mechanical Systems Maintenance: Machinery Repair Specialized Diploma

As industry continues to automate and compete in the global market, skills and knowledge in a broad range of mechanical maintenance disciplines are in great demand. The Machinery Repair Specialized Diploma combines your on-the-job experience with practical classroom knowledge to efficiently repair common types of medium- scale process machinery such as packaging equipment, robotics, and molding machines.

Courses can also be converted and counted towards the Electromechanical A.A.S. degree at a later date.


Required Courses: (336 Hours)

NAVT 0003 Mechanical Blueprint Reading (45 hrs)
VTSI 2017 Basic Electricity (60 hrs)
VTSI 2054 Maintenance of Mechanical Components (75 hrs)
VTSI 5509 Industrial Rigging & Equipment Installation (21 hrs)
VTSI 5022 Maintenance Hydraulics & Pneumatics (60 hrs)
VTSI 2045 Advanced Mechanical Systems (75 hrs)
Individual courses may be taken without formally entering the diploma program.
