WORKER PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATION - 3 DAYS
The outcome of this course is to enable the student to recognize necessary criteria for the accepting or rejecting electronic manufactured. The IPC-610 standard is recognized world-wide as the workmanship standard for the electronics industry. The student will give a comprehensive test at the conclusion of their studies. It incorporates both open and closed book questions. An average score of 70 percent or better must be attained to receive their official IPC certification which will be valid for a period of 2 years from date of certification.

OPERATION/INSPECTION CERTIFICATION - 3 DAYS
Requirements and Acceptance for cable and Wire Harness Assemblies. The student will demonstrate satisfactory knowledge of IPC Policies that govern operation or the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Training Certification Program by satisfactory completing an Open Book examination.
GOALS:
Improve individual "discrimination skills"; that is, to improve accuracy of discriminating between "acceptable" or "not acceptable" condition. Tech accept/reject criteria to enhance ability and consistency in correctly applying the criteria.
OUTCOME:
A standard which establishes guidelines for better communication, bring fractions under one measurement format. The Customer, Vendor, Quality Team, Management Team expectations, establishing clean and precise communications throughout the manufacturing process.

The industry standard program for hand and machine soldering processes and materials requirement and hands-on training.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
Upon completion of this course the graduate will have a through understanding of the requirements and philosphy of J-STD-001C and will possess the knowledge to implement J-STD-001C assembly processess and will develop and demonstrate the soldering skills necessary to assemble products in accordance with J-STD-001C.
PROGRAM PURPOSE
To help electronics manufacturers produce at the lowest possible cost by promoting a greater understanding of the soldering and assembly processes through standardized training. The standard describes materials, methods and acceptance criteria for producing soldered electrical and electronics assemblies
OVERVIEW
Requirements for assembly, soldering, soldered connections, cleaning, coating/encapsulation, rework and verification are defined.

IPC-EDU-101/NTCU SOLDLERING CERTIFICATION
3-DAY
This course is an introduction to electronic assembly. The course will cover electronic assembly overview, ESD control, component identification, handlings and mechanical assembly, electrical test and safety standards. DVD and Hands-on training providing smooth transition into hand soldering techniques based on IPC standards.

This five day skills based course provides participants with an intense, hands-on printed circuit board rework and repair lab coupled with a review of all the applicable procedures outlined in the IPC-7711-7721A Specification.
