Whether he's crafting cocktails for customers or maintaining the Wine Spectator award-winning wine list, Robert van Thiel is making the most of his Hospitality degree from NCC. As beverage director for Molinari's Mangia in Bethlehem, Robert's favorite part of the job is "seeing the smile on a guest's face when they take their first sip, or when they return time and time again because of the above-and-beyond service I've given."
Robert loved that the hands-on aspects of his Hospitality courses were intertwined with real-world applications in the community, and opportunities to visit hospitality meccas like New York City, Chicago and New Orleans.
Robert recommends NCC to anyone, whether they're interested in a career in hospitality or something else. "NCC is always on the cutting edge."
