Tobacco Use on Campus
Northampton Community College is 90 percent smoke-free. 
Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. These areas are clearly marked, and the use of tobacco waste receptacles is required. Assume you are in a non smoking area unless you see signs to indicate to the contrary.

Monroe Campus:
- Southwest corner of the parking lot across from the entrance to the Wedge
- the gazebo to the rear of the building
Compliance will be enforced. Education and treatment is will be the primary approach, but violators may also face fines or other action.
