Bob Hale is a practical student of wine and started teaching at NCC Spring 2016. Since 2000 he has sustained an "always learning" approach to the wine world. Bob was President of the local American Wine Society chapter for 8 years. He has been fortunate to have had many generous and well versed wine mentors. This has led to wine travel in Italy, France,
California, Oregon, Virginia, and New York. His wife Kim excels in food paring and the Hales have put on private dinners and maintain a diverse cellar.
Bob's style of teaching is to present the subject matter in a brief and thorough manner. He has a simple communication style that is not pretentious on wine matters. He has many wine books for reference as needed and puts new wine folks at ease as they learn the wine world together.
