Mia Rossi began teaching Radio/TV and Communications/Theater at NCC in 2011. She has an M.A. in Communications and Media and a B.S. in Media and Speech/Theater concentration. Although she teaches in these creative fields, the performance aspect of her life has also been strong. Rossi has been dancing since she was seven years old, and took formal classes in modern, tap, ballet and jazz. She's self-taught in hip-hop. She enjoys anything artistic, production or performance based.
Her philosophy for teaching is to pass along any and all knowledge to other people. The sharing of concepts and ideas is what helps to develop a person's mind and body. Even one piece of new material a day can excite and invigorate your soul. The expression in movement is enticing to her and she wishes to share that outlet with others.
